A lot has been written in the press in recent times about photographers rights. What can you take photos of without being challenged by security guards or the police. The boys in blue, who you would think would know the law about taking photos in public places, seem to be as confused as anyone, and are continually harassing us, quoting anti terrorism laws to prevent us going about our hobby.
The links below will provide you with useful information about what you are allowed to do, where you can take photos, and more importantly, where you can’t.
If you know your rights then you can stand your ground if approached, and let them know that you know the law and you will not be bullied by someone in a uniform and prevented from practicing your hobby.
